Your fridge story reminded me of one of my own. I was on the train home for winter break during my second year of college and I suddenly remembered that I had left some chicken nuggets in the tiny freezer drawer of my mini fridge. My mini fridge that I had to unplug before leaving for break. In a building where I could swear the heat in the winter was kept well over 80. There wasn't even anybody I could get in contact with who could have accessed my room to toss them for me. Everyone had left for break, housing staff included. So the whole time I was home, I could do nothing but dread the stench I'd be returning to. The one slight bit of luck I had was that I'd be returning a bit earlier than everybody else. I'd been hired as an RA starting the next semester and had to move all my stuff to my new room on another floor before everybody else came back. So at least I was the only one who had to deal with it. And yes, it was every bit as bad as I feared. I don't think I was able to eat chicken nuggets at all for over a year afterwards.

One of my characters was closely associated, through his backstory, with a gold dragon (two guesses what his class was 😂). He was involved in freeing a bunch of enslaved humanoids of various races from a beholder (sadly, the beholder didn't make it). Among them were many kobolds. He convinced the kobolds to obey the dragon he knew. The dragon, also a wizard, bonded the most dominant kobold as a familiar, and used them for mining and minting precious metals and gems. The eventual goal for the dragon was to teach the kobold tribe to be nice and trade, instead of murdering, thievery and raiding. By the end of the campaign, they weren't completely reformed, but they did what they were told by the dragon, and didn't do what they were told not to by the dragon or my character (tiefling dragon sorcerer who had been the dragon's familiar, previously)

I play Rogue, my friends plays rogues. We are deadly together Just the 6 of us. Me Rogue/Ronin, friend 1 Rogue Sorceress, friend 2 Rogue Barbarian, friend 3 Rogue Ranger, friend 4 Rogue Druid, Friend 5 Rogue fighter, and friend 6 Rogue Rogue bard. And we are very tactical 😊 I was really good at Dex and wisdom so I took point majority of the time. And the Rogue Sorceress was really good at talking. And the Rogue Barbarian was like Connan the Barbarian if he was a Girl yes it was all girls playing at this table. We took people out like we're the special forces. Lol The Rogue fight was the leader. Everyone plays their part.
